Jan Macdonald

I am a machine learning researcher and received my PhD in 2022 from the Institute of Mathematics of the Technische Universität Berlin. My research focuses on topics in applied and computational mathematics and scientific machine learning with a specialization in problems related to computer vision. I am particularly interested in studying the accuracy and robustness of deep learning methods for inverse problems and the interpretability of deep learning classifier decisions.
